What Is Funny Shooter 2? Who Made It and How It Works

Who made Funny Shooter 2
Funny Shooter 2 is made by GoGoMan, the studio named on its Poki page and in the game build itself. Poki lists the release date as January 2023, and the same month as its latest update. Other GoGoMan games on Poki include Huggy Wuggy Shooter, Sniper Shot 2 and Neon Flytron: Cyberpunk Racer.
The game is a first-person shooter built in Unity (version 2020.3) and runs in the browser through WebGL. The download is about 33 MB. Its look comes from low-poly art: simple blocky shapes, flat colours and cartoon enemies. Its guns, hands and animations come from a commercial low-poly shooter kit. That is why the guns have plain names like SMG 02 and Sniper 03. Poki lists it for desktop computers.
How a session is structured
You pick a level from a level list. Enemies arrive in phases, until you complete the level. After a level the game shows how many coins you collected and a short praise line picked from a set such as "You rule!", "Worthy of an Oscar!", "Getting better all the time!" and "Keep it up!". Coins are the single currency. You spend them in two places: the weapon shop and the upgrades screen.
Upgrades
Poki's description says to "upgrade your skills such as health, coin magnet, and grenade impact", and the upgrade panels in the build match that:
- Health: more health to survive a phase.
- Coin Magnet: helps you collect coins, as the name says.
- Grenades: Poki calls this grenade impact.
- Level multiplier: a multiplier panel shown next to the level reward.
Daily goals and achievements
Next to the levels there is a daily goals panel with a countdown timer. The panel says "Complete all goals to get a reward". Goals are small tasks, for example killing enemies with an atomic explosion or buying items.
The achievements screen tracks long-term counters, each with its own name. The ones in the game's text include:
| Achievement | What it counts |
|---|---|
| Banker | Coins collected |
| Killer | Enemies killed |
| Headshot | Kills by headshot |
| Big bada boom | Enemies exploded |
| Kangaroo | Jumps |
| Self defense | Weapons purchased |
| Judgment Day | Atomic bombs set off |
| Stalker | Enemies killed by a nuke |
| Employee | Levels completed |
| Never give up | Deaths |
| Alone in the field warrior | Total enemies killed |
| A ton of ammo | Total damage dealt |
Poki's page suggests finishing achievements and challenges to earn extra coins, which speeds up buying guns and upgrades.
Ads in the game
Some rewards are tied to optional ads. The end-of-level screen can offer Receive x2 for watching an ad. The coin panel has "Watch ads" buttons, and there is a separate remove-ads option.
Settings and languages
The pause menu (Tab) has settings for sound, music, camera rotation speed and graphics quality, from Very Low up to Ultra. If the game stutters on an older laptop, lower the quality first. The game text comes in English, Russian and Turkish, and the music is credited to BaDoink. Holding Tab during play also brings up the controls card if you forget a key.
