Funny Shooter 2 Weapons: The 18 Guns, Knife and Nuke

How many weapons are in Funny Shooter 2?

The Poki listing for Funny Shooter 2 says you fight with 18 weapons, "from rocket launchers to shotguns". The game's own weapon list matches that number. Leaving out the knife and the nuke, the guns in the build fall into seven classes:

ClassNames in the gameCount
HandgunsHandgun 01 to Handgun 044
Submachine gunsSMG 01 to SMG 055
Assault riflesAssault Rifle 01 to Assault Rifle 033
ShotgunShotgun 011
Sniper riflesSniper 01 to Sniper 033
Grenade launcherGrenade Launcher 011
Rocket launcherRocket Launcher 011

That adds up to 18. The guns have plain numbered names, not brand or joke names, so the number tells you which model you are holding within a class. There is no laser rifle or plasma gun in the list. "Laser" in this game means a laser sight you fit to a gun (see below).

The knife and the nuke

Two more items sit outside the 18. The Knife is always there as a melee attack on the F key, so you can hit an enemy that gets close without switching away from your gun. The Nuke is a separate rocket-launcher model whose shot sets off a large nuclear blast effect. Two achievements are built around it: Judgment Day counts the atomic bombs you set off, and Stalker counts the enemies killed by a nuke. One of the daily goals also asks for enemies killed by an atomic explosion.

Buying guns

Guns are bought with coins in the weapon shop. If you try to buy one you cannot afford, the shop shows "not enough coins". Coins come from playing levels, from the end-of-level reward screen and from goals and achievements. The Poki description says almost every level brings something new, such as an enemy, a boss, an upgrade or a weapon, so the shop opens up as you move through the levels.

Two achievements track your armory: one counts purchased weapons and another counts how often you change weapons.

Switching in a fight

The in-game controls card lists two ways to switch. Number keys 1-7 are weapon hotkeys, and the mouse wheel steps to the next weapon. The hotkeys cover seven slots, not all 18 guns. Press R to reload and G to throw a grenade, which works with any gun in your hands.

Attachments and looks

A customize screen lets you change parts of a gun and then save the setup. The slots the game shows are:

  • Scope: the build has eight scope models next to each gun's default sight.
  • Silencer: three silencer models.
  • Laser: a laser sight that sits under the barrel.
  • Grip and muzzle parts, plus the magazine shown on the gun.
  • Material: a colour or skin option. Poki's page mentions skins to customize the guns.

Which to pick first?

The game gives no damage tier list, so any ranking you read online is someone's opinion. The weapon info panel in the shop shows three stats for each gun: damage, fire rate and ammo. Compare those numbers on the guns you can afford before you spend your coins.
